MISSION EDUCATION:

Mission Education is a national level flagship program of Future Shine Foundation which is committed to provide basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. The Future Shine Foundation's education initiatives include pre-school [3-6 years] non-formal education [6-14] non-school going years] remedial education [6-14 years going to school] and bridge courses [14-18] Year drop-outs] Since its inception in 2018, over 5,00 children have directly benefited from our education NGO program. Presently, this flagship initiative of Future Shine Foundation is reaching out to 5,00 children directly through 40 projects in 10 states across India. COVID-19 Virus has not only robbed millions of children's education, their safety and their health, but has also taken away their childhood. What's more, this pandemic has revealed and reinforced deep and systemic inequalities, with the most vulnerable among us paying the highest price. The Future Shine Foundation has been at the forefront since the early days of the pandemic. With the help of our supporters, we have so far reached out to those affected by COVID-19 in children. We are indebted to creating a better, more equal world for children for ensuring decades of progress on children's rights are not reversed by COVID-19. This is a step towards sensitizing the civil society at large and helping to create a girl child/female friendly society to help her grow. Tragically, a significant number have lost their parents to the virus and are in need of care and protection. With their education disrupted, many children not only lack the tools to attend online school, but are also at greater risk of child labor and child marriage. Challenges for children in India:

While India continues to grow as a driving force in the world economy, millions of children are left behind. Children from the most vulnerable communities, including those from the lowest castes and tribes, religious minority groups and girls, do not have an equal opportunity to succeed. Many children are stunted due to severe malnutrition. Child marriage, child labor and poverty are persistent challenges. It is a fight for survival of the homeless from Covid-19 and now cold, hunger and pollution. With thousands of people living in shelter homes, the risk of transmission would be high. We have run out of money and resources. But, we are committed to protect the poor children by providing food, clothes and education.

We appeal to all to continue our support so that we continue to serve the homeless children and poor families. Let's save poor children from more hunger.
